Sven B. Schreiber Sarah Mancuso aka "esselfortium" is a freelance composer, who leads the development of the "Back to Saturn X" (BTSX) game series in her spare time, contributing art work, level design, and music, of course. Contrary to many other game soundtracks, the BTSX music conceived by Sarah Mancuso is not produced as a "chiptune" score, but sequenced via MIDI. It's really amazing how much life she breathes into this fundamentally deterministic way of music production! Favorite track: Bitmap.

Steven Smith good midis. pretty good soundtrack for a doom mod. Favorite track: Clonk.

Captain Ventris Even though the trilogy isn't yet completed, BTSX is undoubtedly one of the most capable and influential Doom community projects of the modern era. A large part of the tailored aesthetic of BTSX is its melodic, complex soundtrack. The music is at wistful, lonesome, and introspective. A more perfect musical expression of BTSX's colorful and haunting environs I cannot imagine, not to mention how outright listenable each track is. Overall just a great soundtrack.
